Pelvic Floor Therapy

Pelvic floor dysfunction can be a complex issue, with its exact causes often remaining unclear. However, pelvic floor therapists employ various treatment methods that can effectively alleviate symptoms associated with these conditions. By focusing on personalized care and targeted exercises, these professionals aim to improve overall pelvic health and enhance quality of life. If you're experiencing symptoms, seeking guidance from a qualified therapist may be a beneficial step.

Rehab and Revive® was determined to provide answers and treatment for as many patients as possible With the addition of Dr. Yvonne Huang, we were able to utilize her passion for pelvic floor therapy and provide treatments and solutions for even more conditions.

Pelvic floor therapy is an underrecognized and underutilized form of treating a myriad of conditions that are more common than most think.

There are many different treatment modalities that can be used to promote healing and healthy pelvic floor function. The muscles that make up the pelvic floor act as a sling to hold up the organs in the abdominal cavity as well as facilitate different functions such as urination and defecation.

When these muscles are over- or under-active different types of pelvic floor dysfunctions can arise. There are many factors that contribute to pelvic floor dysfunction such as pregnancy, age, obesity, menopause and trauma to the pelvic floor area and it can affect both men and women.

If you feel you may be suffering from pelvic floor dysfunction or one of the conditions listed below, seek an evaluation with one of our trained, integrative therapists.

Eileen E.

I have been doing here for over a year now. I have flare ups with my autoimmune disease and I see Dr. Huang regularly for lymphatic massages. First, I love Dr. Huang. I truly believe lymphatic massages have kept me from having more flares as it helps my body get rid of toxins. She is always checking in with me to see how I am feeling and we target areas of need. She also specializes in pelvic floor which is helpful and a great specialty/resource for women in their 40s and above starting or having these issues. Dr. Huang is also a PT so when I need that I can still work with her and she fixes me right up and educates me on how to make myself stronger.

I LOVE that they work out of the box with methods that are not entirely "western" but mix in other philosophies as well. I can't recomend this rehab place enough.
